How to Make Peppermint and Rosemary Facial Toner

Peppermint and rosemary facial toner is a simple, natural alternative to expensive commercial facial toners which often contain unnecessary and potentially harmful additives and preservatives to stabilize them during shipping and shelving. Homemade peppermint and rosemary facial toner works just as well as store-bought products, tightening the skin and helping to shed dead skin cells. Store the facial toner in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator for maximum shelf-life. Instructions

Combine the peppermint Schnapps and witch hazel in a small saucepan and heat over low heat for about 2 to 3 minutes or until warm.

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool to room temperature, stirring regularly.

Add the rosemary essential oil and mix thoroughly to combine.

Using a clean plastic funnel, transfer the mixture to a clean glass bottle with a fine-spray mister. Store in a cool, dark place or in the refrigerator between uses.
