How to Make Cranberry and Honey Lip Gloss

Cranberry and honey lip gloss is a simple, easy-to-make natural lip gloss that is a fabulous alternative to the expensive commercial lip glosses that line cosmetics counters and retail shelves all over the world. Using the natural color and shine of cranberries and raw honey, cranberry and honey lip gloss also eschews the use of chemicals, additives and preservatives.

Instructions

Mix the sweet almond oil, fresh cranberries, raw honey and vitamin E oil in a heatproof glass measuring cup.

Place the measuring cup in the microwave and microwave on high for two minutes.

Remove the measuring cup from the microwave and stir with a wooden spoon or glass stirrer. Mash the berries lightly with a fork.

Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve, reserving what passes through the sieve in a small glass jar with tight-fitting lid. Discard the large pieces of cranberry. Stir the mixture and allow it to cool completely before using.
