How to Get Mystic Tan Spray Tan Odor Off of the Skin

According to the website Totally Tan, Mystic tanning spray can leave your skin with a starchy smell. This smell occurs because of the way your skin reacts to the chemicals in the tanning spray. It is not recommended that you shower until four hours after receiving the tanning spray. Once you are allowed to shower, you will be able to take measures to remove the unpleasant odor left on your skin.

Instructions

Pour a quarter sized amount of a scented shower gel on a nylon mesh ball. The website Sunless recommends scented shower gel above any type of soap, including deodorant soap, because of its effectiveness at getting rid of spray tan odors.

Wash your body with the scented shower gel by running the nylon mesh ball over your skin in a circular motion. Make sure you are thorough because the spray tan mist gets in every nook and cranny.

Rinse off and towel dry.

Sprinkle a little baking soda in some lotion and rub it into your skin. The baking soda will remove any remaining odor left on your skin by the Mystic tanning spray.
