How to Make Watermelon and Cucumber Skin Toner

Watermelon and cucumber skin toner is an easy to make alternative to the expensive, commercial products that line store shelves all over the world. Using natural ingredients that can be purchased through a health-food store or made at home, making your own skin-care products can limit your exposure to chemicals, additives and preservatives often found in store-bought products. You can keep watermelon and cucumber skin toner for up to one week if it is stored in the refrigerator between uses.

Instructions

Mix the watermelon juice, cucumber juice and high-proof vodka in a small mixing bowl. Cover and let the ingredients combine for two hours in the refrigerator.

Remove the mixing bowl from the refrigerator and add the witch hazel and distilled water. Cover the bowl again and refrigerate for another two hours.

Remove the watermelon skin toner from the refrigerator and stir with a glass stirrer. Transfer the mixture to a glass or plastic bottle with a fine-spray mister.
