How to Make Elderflower, Lavender and Raw Honey Skin Cleanser

Elderflower, lavender and raw honey skin cleanser is a simple, natural alternative to expensive commercial products, which often contain potentially harmful additives and preservatives. Making your own skin care products will also help save money, as the ingredients often cost much less than store-bought products. This recipe makes enough elderflower, lavender and raw-honey skin cleanser for three separate treatments. The cleanser will keep for about one week in the refrigerator.

Instructions

Place the elderflower petals, rose petals, dried lavender, calendula and be pollen in a sterilized glass jar with a tight-fitting lid.

Pour the boiling water into the jar and replace the lid. Cover and steep for 25 minutes.

Strain the mixture in a fine-mesh sieve over a blender cup.

Add the aloe vera gel, vegetable glycerin, raw honey, vitamin E oil, tea tree oil and chamomile essential oil. Blend on high for one minute.

Pour the final mixture into a clean jar with a tight-fitting lid. Allow the cleanser to cool completely. Shake gently before first application and all subsequent uses.
