How to Make Homemade Exfoliating Face Wash or Face Mask

Brand-name skin care products can range from $10 at the drugstore to over $100 at high-end department stores. But you don't have to break the bank to take care of your skin. Make your own facial products at home for pennies and still treat your skin with the care it needs and deserves. The oatmeal in this facial absorbs excess oils and also serves as a natural exfoliant. The yogurt helps cleanse and soothe the skin, while the honey is a natural antiseptic and binding agent.

Instructions

Process the oatmeal in the food processor until it is finely ground. Set it aside.

Mix the yogurt and the honey in a small bowl. Gradually stir in the ground oatmeal. Mix until all ingredients are well-blended into a smooth paste.

Spread the mixture over your face with your fingertips. Avoid the eye area. Leave on the mixture for 15 minutes.

Rinse off the mixture thoroughly with warm water. Pat the skin dry.
