How to Make Peppermint and Spearmint Lip Gloss

Peppermint and spearmint lip gloss is a natural alternative to the expensive lip glosses sold by cosmetics companies in retail stores. Instructions

Combine the castor oil and liquid glycerin in a small saucepan. Heat the mixture over low heat for 3 to 4 minutes or until warm.

Remove the saucepan from heat and add the liquid lanolin. Stir with a disposable or glass stirrer until the mixture cools to room temperature.

Add the spearmint and peppermint essential oils and stir to combine.

Transfer the mixture to a small glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Store the lip gloss in a cool, dark place between uses.
