How to Get Rid of Passion Marks

Passion marks, otherwise called hickies or hickeys, are trapped blood cells underneath the skins surface. They are also the number one tell-tale sign for a previous night romp or drunken escapade. Though Sometimes, a woman may be able to get away with the age old curling iron burn excuse, but that doesnt work for everyone. There are a few things you can do to actually get rid of the mark or at least greatly minimize its appearance.

Instructions

Immediately apply ice to the passion mark. The sooner you catch the hickey after it was administered, the better your results with this method will be.

Gently massage the affected skin. Stimulating the area helps disperse the trapped blood cells, diminishing the marks appearance.

Apply steady pressure with a lipstick cap onto the passion mark and then twist the cap. This is slightly painful, but it will help force the blood deeper beneath the skins surface, lessening the passion marks appearance.

Rub vitamin K into the affected skin to help expedite the bruises healing process.

Apply a wet, warm used tea bag to the skin. This works like a hot compress, relieving the clotted blood beneath the skins surface. As the tea bag cools, re-warm it with hot water.
