How to Remove Paint on Skin With Baby Oil

If you've got paint on your skin and are out of traditional paint removers, reach into your medicine cabinet and pull out a bottle of baby oil. Baby oil, a harmless alternative to irritating removers, can easily remove paint from your skin and leave it feeling clean and soft.

Instructions

    1

Lather your hands with soap and wash with water. Wipe your hands with a clean cloth.

    2

Pour baby oil over one cotton ball generously. Soak the cotton ball so that the baby oil fills it but it isn't drenched. Verify the cotton ball has an adequate amount of baby oil in it by gently squeezing the cotton ball over your skin and finding that the liquid drops onto paint spots.

    3

Rub the cotton ball over the parts of your skin stained with the most paint. Use circular motions and work your way inward. Allow the baby oil to break up hardened paint without rubbing too hard.

    4

Reapply baby oil to the cotton ball and keep rubbing until the whole of the cotton ball has soaked up paint.

    5

Replace the cotton ball with a fresh one and continue rubbing over areas with less paint.

    6

Oil your hands with baby oil once you have removed most of the paint. Rub your hands together and use your fingers to get at paint in crevices.

    7

Wash your hands with soap and water again to remove any remaining paint flakes and baby oil residue.
