How to Use Aloe Juice as an Astringent

Aloe has been long used for its beauty benefits by the likes of Cleopatra and Nefertiti. It contains minerals, enzymes, amino acids, protein and polysaccharides. Instructions

Choose your aloe juice or gel. Make sure to check the ingredients of the aloe juice, so that its in the purest form possible. You can also use an aloe plant. However, just make sure that you peel the layers of the leaf, so that you come into contact with the innermost area which contains the aloe juice.

Cleanse your face. Before applying aloe juice, begin with a clean palette.

Apply the aloe juice. Spray or pour the aloe juice onto an applicator, like cotton. Liberally distribute the aloe juice onto your face.

Leave the aloe juice on throughout the day or overnight. Have the aloe juice replace your usual astringent or toner and use the same products as you would after using the astringent.
