How to Make Natural Age Spot Remover

Age spots, also commonly known as liver spots, are flat grey, brown or black spots that are similar to freckles. Age spots arent really caused by age, though they are very common in adults over the age of 40. According to the Mayo Clinic, age spots are actually caused by prolonged sun exposure, which is why they often appear on the arms, legs, hands and face. Age spots arent dangerous, but if you dont like their appearance, there are natural ways to gently fade and remove them over time.

Instructions

Combine 1/2 tablespoon lemon essential oil with 5 tablespoons jojoba oil in a small, sterilized glass bottle with a tight-fitting top. Shake the mixture to fully combine the ingredients.

Wash your skin with a gentle cleanser, and pat it dry with a clean towel.

Pour a small amount of the lemon and jojoba oil mixture onto a clean cotton ball or pad. Gently pat the lemon and jojoba oil mixture onto areas of skin with age spots. Avoid getting the mixture on areas of skin that dont need treatment.

Allow the lemon and jojoba oil mixture to completely dry on your skin before putting on clothes. Use the mixture in the morning and evening after washing.
