How to Make a Honey Mask

Honey is one of nature's finest gifts, and the uses for this sweet nectar are almost endless. In addition to being a delicious addition to a multitude of dishes, honey also makes nourishing and soothing facials, softening the skin and leaving it looking younger and silky smooth.

Instructions

Moisturize the skin and tighten pores with pure honey applied directly to the face. Warm it in the microwave, and pat a small amount onto your face. Leave it on for about 15 to 25 minutes.

Treat dry skin with a moisturizing honey facial. Mix one tablespoon of honey with an egg yolk. Squeeze in the oil from a vitamin E capsule, and stir well. Apply the honey facial to your skin, and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

Put a spoonful of oatmeal in the blender, and grind it to a powder. Add the oatmeal to two tablespoons of honey, and apply the mixture to you face. Leave it on for about 20 minutes.

Add one teaspoon honey to a mashed banana, and combine the mixture with one teaspoon of plain yogurt. Smooth it on the face, and allow it to dry.

Treat yourself to a quick-and-easy milk-and-honey facial. Combine two tablespoons of honey with one teaspoon of milk, and smooth it evenly on your face. Leave it on for about 10 minutes.

Make a honey and oatmeal facial using cooked oatmeal. Prepare about a half cup of cooked instant oatmeal, and allow it to thicken. As it cools, add about a quarter cup of honey. Smooth it on the skin, massage it in with the pads of your fingertips, and rinse.
