How to Get Gorilla Glue Off of Skin

Gorilla Glue is a product of the Gorilla Glue Company, a family-owned and operated glue manufacturer. Used on a variety of surfaces such as wood, glass, steel, ceramic and aluminum, Gorilla Glue is a strong-bonding adhesive. It is not uncommon to get Gorilla Glue on your skin while using it. If this happens, dont panic. Despite its strong bond and fast drying, you can safely remove Gorilla Glue from your skin with the right products and methods.

Instructions

Fill a bowl with warm, soapy water. Put the affected area of the skin in the soapy water and let it soak for ten minutes. If the Gorilla Glue is on an area of the body that cannot be soaked, saturate a rag with the warm, soapy water and place it onto the skin for ten minutes.

Remove the skin from the soapy water. Use your fingernail to gently scrape off the glue. Alternate soaking and scraping until all of the glue is gone.

Soak the affected area in acetone nail polish remover if the Gorilla Glue is persistent. Fill a bowl or soak a rag with the acetone nail polish remover and let the area soak for a few minutes. Remove from the solution, then scrape gently with your fingernail. Alternate soaking and scraping until the glue is gone.

Wash the skin thoroughly with soapy water after using acetone nail polish remover. Apply moisturizer to the affected area to restore moisture lost from soaking.
