How to Lighten Dark Underarm Skin

Dark underarm skin can be caused by a number of things, including age, hormonal changes, pregnancy, and genetics. If you are embarrassed by your dark underarms, here are some tips to help you lighten the skin.

Apply apple cider vinegar to the dark underarm skin, after washing and drying the area. Do not rinse it off after it's dried. Repeat daily for a couple of weeks.

Make a paste with baking soda and apple cider vinegar. Making this mixture will cause a lot of fizzing and bubbling. Just wait for the bubbling to subside, then apply to your underarms. Let it dry, then wash off.

Cut a lemon into wedges, and rub one of the wedges onto the dark underarm skin. Allow the juice to dry. Repeat twice daily.

Purchase a safe skin bleaching cream. South Beach Skin Solutions and Porcelana are two safe creams that can be used to treat hyper-pigmented skin. You can find this at your local beauty supply store.
