Uneven skin tone may be frustrating when you look in the mirror, but there are things that can be done to help. The discoloration stems from an uneven build-up of melanin that has come into contact with sunlight or dead skin cells that have gone deep into the skin and done some damage at that level.
Vitamin E is used as a repairer of damaged skin, a deep moisturizer, a skin protector, an anti-aging agent, with anti-inflammatory properties. It is also an antioxidant that assists with freeing the body of toxic free radicals that are released from damaged oxygen in the body due to ultraviolet sun rays, and an overindulgence of alcohol and cigarettes.

    Break open Vitamin E capsules and apply directly to skin. Wash off with soapy water after several minutes. This will help with a deeper treatment. Incorporate this treatment whenever your skin feels dry or you need deeper moisturizing.

    Use products that contain Vitamin E on a daily basis for regular upkeep. Vitamin E can be found in face creams, moisturizers and many other skin care products.

    Incorporate foods and supplements into your diet that contain Vitamin E. Sunflower seeds, olives, almonds, some dark leafy green vegetables and blueberries are all a good source of Vitamin E. Take vitamin supplements daily, no more than 400 I.U. of Vitamin E. These will help the healing from the inside out.
